As you already know there are only a few current orders placed for this aircraft and the freight carrier seems to be more popular. Do any of you think that the 748i will really take off in the same way previous 747 models have in the passenger aircraft. Also when was the last 744 passenger aircraft delivered. Was it the China Airlines one in Boeing Colours and are there anymore yet to role off the line. Suppose there is more demand as a freighter for this type now though.
On a second topic which aircraft do you think would be good for cargo operations in the future. The 767, 777 and A330 seem to have the greatest potential and my guess is that these will replace the DC10 and MD11 as the freight carriers of the future whereas the 744 will replace the older 747 series in the freight business
