Can anyone think of another airline other than Biman Bangladesh that is still operating the DC10 in pax service. NWA isn't now and to my knowledge there are no others left. If i am correct this is bad news.
I know ATA and Omni still operate them in pax config but they are charter aircraft to my knowledge.
There are plenty of cargo carriers still using them but it will be a sad day when the regular Joe can not fly these beauties any more. I personally will never get the oportunity because i am not planning a trip to Bangladesh anytime soon.

Not the same but i would like to fly on one of thse as well, rather like the 747, MD11 and any Airbus because the only Airbus i have flown on was an A300

its already too late, i know i will never fly on one now. Because Biman Bangladesh is the absolute last. Unless i win the lottery and book a charter flight i will never get on one. I also forgot to mention the specialist Military tanker DC10's and the new Fire fighting DC10's

I have had the joy of flying both the DC-10-10 and the DC-10-30 with Laker and they are an absolute joy. I still recon it was one of the best of the early wide body types but the L-1011 Tristar also has to come joint first with me. Lockheed knew how to build airliners and the deep purrrr of thr RR RB211's was wonderfull. For me these two are up there with the VC-10.

i see the KDC-10 wich is the tanker at Airshows and i am in the RAF cadets so i might have a chance to fly on the Tristar and the VC-10.
