happy birthday, i am eighteen and i am still to young to start my airline up. One day maybe but for now i want to see what happens with the industry because the aviation industry is at a critical time with all the new taxes that are likely to come in to play. Maybe in 20 years we might even see then end of the jet engine, after the USA has stolen all the oil from the middle east and drained its own and everyone elses supply. It would be a shame but there has to be another way to fly an aircraft, maybe they can use the grease from McDonalds or something!

Admin I know you are only 16 but set your sights higher than Ryanair. You know from other postings that I am not a Ryanair fan but beside that flying with Ryanair will only give you one type to fly so would you like to spend your flying career on one type. It is like being told for the rest of your life you will only drive a Ford Focus. Look at carriers who have various types and you can over your flying career fly four or five types and see more of the world than just Europe. I am a BA man despite what people say about them but there is also BMI or some of the multi type IT airlines.

Yes i personally think BA offers one of the best services around but they were driven back to London because the rest of the country is not prepared to pay the prices they charge when they can get much cheaper services from most other carriers. For example i could fly to Hong Kong in many ways:
LHR with BA, CP and VS
or European ports with LH and KL, which do you think i will choose when via Europe i get two benefits
1. Its cheaper 2. I get to see different airlines
I am not knocking BA as an airline because i think they are superb but i personally can't afford to fly with them because they are too expensive
